Little millefiori spaniel

Hi everyone, I have sent this little dog over to Frank for the zoo, but I don't have a country or maker to add to him - can anyone help please?

It looks to me as if it has 'Chinese Murano' canes...maybe made in China and exported to Italy?

Canes are definitely Chinese. He is very well formed, tho. I generally don't go for glass animals but he is one I would put in my cabinet. He's adorable.
I collect Scottish and Italian paperweights and anything else that strikes my fancy.

I think his eyes are particularly nicely made, the circles are very even.

The Inscrutable Chinese are getting very good....!!
