Elme 'Peacock' Lamp
« on: September 19, 2008, 12:31:59 AM »
I've had this a while, and have only just got around to taking a few snapshots of it.

I'd not seen a Peacock pattern lampbase before I bought this one about two years ago, and I've not seen one since - so I was just wondering if it's a later conversion from a vase? I know that this shape *was* used as a vase for this series. But the lamp is nicely proportioned and very well-finished, with a fitted brass cap and a neatly-drilled hole for the cable complete with protective rubber seal... so I'm not sure.

Has anyone else seen one before?
