Is the glass cat bowl Whitefriars?

As a collector of Whitefriars glass, I am very curious about the above link "Very Unusual Glass Cat Bowl Possibly Whitefriars" and would like to know from somebody out there in the know, if the bowl possibly could be Whitefriars.

About twelve month ago I was at an Antique fair and one of the stall holders offered me the same in amber as Whitefriars.  However, I was unsure of the bowls identity even though it had the polished pontil and controlled bubbles.  I have never come across the same in any of the catalogues or seen one since.  I didn't buy!

So, my question is, have I passed up on something rare or, is it some other manufacturer?
Thanks in advance.

I have seen three of these at fairs in the last couple of years , i was with Ray Annenberg when we saw the last one it was in none coloured glass - clear - Rays opinion was its not Whitefriars , he worked for W/Fs from the 50s until they closed in the 80s .JP .
