That's OK Kristi... this piece is driving me crazy - I thought I was through with mystery pieces. There is not even a whiff of a signature on this piece.

A. D. Copier did a "tincraquele" that occasionally looked somewhat like this. "Serica 14," 1928, is a vase that looks similar to your vase, but it's 21 cm and the craquele extends in stripes down the the body of the vase. And Leerdam is usually signed, or was that later?

This piece is not Leerdam.
It would be some obscure 'unique' experiment which (in such a case) would have been properly signed, since even the ugly ones commanded good prices!

You can see some examples of Leerdam tin craquele on my site
for instance

and it looks nothing like this!

Hi Warren,
the decoration much reminds me of this vase made by Cristallerie Oberursel in Hesse / Germany.
According to this site these vases should date to ca. 1982-1990.
http://www.kristallglas-oberursel.net/Text/Kristallglas.html
The one I´ve posted has a different base (large ground and polished pontil mark) and is cased
though, while yours appears to be solid green. Or is that just the pictures?
Regards,
Dirk

A suggestion, probably like telling your grandmother how to suck eggs :24: (English expression)

It looks like Dirk has cracked the case (no pun intended)  ;D

Thanks also for the link to that website  - it has some interesting history, including a historical link to the Rachmann Bros. factory (which had a tragic end in WWII).

Thank you all  - and Dirk, you're the man. :)

English isn´t my first language, so I usually don´t get the finer nuances anyway...   ;D
