« on: October 13, 2008, 07:03:40 AM »
Hi all. I just bought a glass comport from a secondhand shop. It was clear in colour with rd no: 113560 and a peacock mark....Can anyone here date this item for me please? Cheers..Brenton...BTW, although the dish appears to be flint, it actually react to the UV light and turned green :)

The dull green is usually caused by the presence of the decoloriser manganese. It does NOT contain uranium
