Clear Bowl with ground dimples signed - omifors DA 3386/2
« on: October 14, 2008, 11:14:57 PM »
Another piece from my trip. The signature could be bmifors. I thought it was 'orrefors' but the signature looks like am m and an i, not sure if you can see clearly from the photo.

Any thoughts would be very helpful. So far the trip has brought nothing Murano but I am enjoying what we bought anyway.

regards

Ardy

Sorry but I think I just found the same vase. There is an Orrefors 3386/3 for sale but unfortunately no picture but I am sure they must be the same or similar.

Any other ideas contrary to this or additional information would be useful.

Looks like a standard Orrefors sig to me.  :)

Hi Nic thanks for that. I seem to only buy Murano or glass I think is murano and often turns out not be, so I have never seen an Orrefors signature before. This was thrown in to another purchase for $15 (approx 7 pounds) so I bought it.

It actually looks OK in with my other glass.
