I found this little vase - with pulled threads, clear casing, heavy iridescence and a perfectly smooth polished stand. Obviously no amateur work. It came with a piece of sellotaped paper with a flowery Italian text about young designers, painters, model makers, sculptors glassmakers etc and their fantastic capabilities and a logo for something called "creare s.r.l.". Unfortunately not a lot of information. "creare" (create) is quite impossible to google but I managed to find a company by that name in Catania.
Has anyone come across Sicilian glass before?
