I doubt anyone will get their hands on 'The Price of Oil' as it's in a collection that is unlikely
ever
to be broken up because of the way it has been formed, and it's role within museums. Wonderful thing to hold though
Unfortunately, us mere mortals are only ever likely to be able to own a piece of Peter's earlier work which was produced as 'bread and butter' by him. The commission pieces are really special, and a tad pricey
if
they ever come to the market!!

And there was me, being kind and
resisting
rubbing that in, Nigel!
It is always a huge consolation.
It came out nicely in the 2012 calendar, didn't it?

The Pice you are referring to is a closed neck form in to tone colourer and was made in my studio in Fulham and is singed Barry Cullen and has a stock number after 1983 and a galley piece not for the market stall at Covent Garden
this is simpler then the price of oil I was doing a series of closed neck forms to do with optics and colour
it nice to see it again thank you

Hello, and a huge welcome indeed, Barry!
Thank-you so much for commenting and the extra information..
And thank you so much, for your part in "The Price of Oil". It is a treasure which really should belong to the whole world.
(much as though I lust after being it's custodian for just a
little
while....
)
