TECHIE TIPS: Can I display a remote image in a post?

The board does not have the option to display a remotely hosted picture. Any links to remote images will show as links only. As these images might be removed or relocated in time, we ask that you use the image attachment option on the board instead.

If you do want to link to an external image this is how to do it:
