To identify small amber vase please!!!
« on: November 09, 2008, 04:30:12 PM »
Could any one identify this small vase, which was sold as Czech Sklo Union 1959 - 1960 probably designed by Rudolph Schroiter????  The vase is 8 cm high x 10 cm wide and the base is like a bird bath: deep, oval concave.  Although the vase is amber, in certain lights, it looks like a pink champagne colour.  Thanks B

I'm sure Marcus will be able to tell you more of these when he returns from the book launch B, but yes they are Sklo Union: http://www.sklounion.com/SkloID.html (scroll down to the bottom of the page.)
