Brief articles now published. Images of their work and further information are needed. http://www.scotlandsglass.co.uk/

Was Norman Orr the father of Caithness' Charles Orr?

Hi,

Norman Orr was not the father of Charles Orr.

Norman was my father in law. I am married to his 2nd son Andrew.

I am always trying to find his work either glass or paintings. I noticed there is a piece on Scotland Glass list.

I am desparate to buy his work to pass on to his grandsons

There are three collaborations with John Airlie shown there LINK and I would love to be able to show more of his glass work. I imagine your best bet would be to contact contemporary glass dealers and auction houses to search pieces out for you.

If you can add to the brief article on Scotland's Glass that would also be good. Either a new article or notes that I could pass onto Shiona - the author of that piece. LINK

Thanks for the clarification that the two were not related.
