Does anyone have a confirmed Philip Holmes weight with sig cane?
« on: November 29, 2008, 08:56:43 PM »
Evening all.

I brought this the other day (being a Selkirk collector in the main) just because of the enscription on the base.

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&rd=1&item=290275111687&ssPageName=STRK:MEWN:IT&ih=019

It arrived today and has what appears to be a sig cane of just a P, not a PH.  I suspect this is Philip Holmes' sig cane, and hoped someone could confirm?  I'm missing a "Philip" weight from my collection, so I'mhoping it is :)

Ian

I have an apple weight by him, but I think it is scribed, no sig cane. I thought I had it on SG but cannot see it there yet. It is in a box in a barn so it will be a while.  :(
