It is with great regret that I have to report the sad news of the death of Pavel Panek, the Sklo Union designer, who died some two months ago, an event unremarked in the Czech press. Colleagues who were trying to arrange a visit for me to present him with a copy of a book, called this morning, having finally discovered why no meeting could be arranged.

I will report further when I have more information.

Regards,

Marcus

oh Marcus ... what a terrible shame for both of you that you couldn't meet and present him with a copy of your book :-(

So sorry to hear about his passing - RIP Pavel.

How terribly sad, Marcus, that no-one knew of his death. Let's hope he's at peace now.
