I can see why someone might think it is an old item, but I've let the seller of this item know it is a Whitefriars weight.

I did too when it first popped up - was told in no uncertain terms that this style was most assuredly antique and had
so much wear to the base it had to be at least 100 years old - thus negating WF  ::)
