I'm thinking Japan 60's to mid 70's.
Search for Himeri, if nothing then try japan label

I googled hineri gass and looked at a few pieces, they are more like murano wheras nether of these two are no I guess no solution yet. I thought they might be something american from the 1960s i, i have quite a lot of Anchor hocking from this time but I still cant place these , please keep looking and suggesting and thanks for the suggestions so far:--)

Hi smokerstill,

Sorry, I was a bit rushed. They don't look like what I've seen as Hineri -  I was just correcting the spelling. Hineri doesn't look like Murano - my impression is that it's more like a downmarket version of czechoslovakian hot glass. That's just based on what I've seen with labels on eBay rather than real or reliable information, by the way.

The vase in the link you gave has been identified, and there is no base shot of the blue bowl  I would go with Japan too, just a gut reaction though

We get a lot of Japanese glass in OZ and I have never seen anything like these:-)
I will try to get a pick of rge base of the blue and put it up later. I am grateful for all and any suggestions,
but the pieces i have seen by the Japanese co mentioned above look nothing like either of these.

Can we ask Mat, who contributed the last page of your 2009 calendar? Very similar or not?  :-X
