The one in the link at Bootylicious is a Candlewax vase by Frantisek Peceny - it has similarities but it's not the same as Norman's.

Agreed about the Bootylicious and the eBay one is the same, although the seller says that it has "Italy to base." I've emailed asking if that means Italy is written/moulded on the base, which would be interesting. I've had a couple of pieces recently that I thought might be Sklo Union until I found "Italy" moulded on the base. I haven't seen a piece like Norman's, not bark and bumps, almost an embarrassment of design riches.

Just received a very quick reply form the seller of eBay item 160306595680, which looks exactly like a Peceny candle wax vase. He tells me that "Italy" is moulded on the bottom.

Marcus already knows about the Candlewax vases with Italy on the base - I remember having a telephone conversation with him some time ago about this.  Hopefully he'll elaborate here but I think he said that the moulds were sold on to other manufacturers at some point.

Fidenza I think.  Discussed here http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,9065.msg76842.html#msg76842  and one or two other threads also.

The vase is reminiscent of my lidded pot here:  http://glassgallery.yobunny.org.uk/displayimage.php?pos=-4728 - this is marked ITALY on the base also, and is one of several examples of this pattern I have.

When Italy on bottom and pressed, since the end of 50's early 60's, Borgonovo could be the second player.
For sure not Fidenza one.
