ATC Murano
« on: December 28, 2008, 03:52:57 AM »
I am new to this message board.
I have a vase with a round label ATC Murano on the base.  It is approximately 35cm tall.  It is clear with a fine white design around the vase in a circular pattern from top to bottom. - a bit like an old barber's pole.  Does anyone know anything about this company?  An approximate age for the vase would be of interest.  It's in perfect condition. Thanks.

Hi and welcome to the board. Some photos of your piece would help give more info about it re age etc.... I suspect few would hazard a guess without seeing the item. Side shots, a base shot, and closeup of pattern all help.

We have a how to post pictures post in the Help forum as well, which you may find useful: http://www.glassmessages.com/index.php/topic,6522.0.html
Cheers! Anne, da tekniqual wizzerd

I am attaching 4 photos of the vase.  I'd appreciate any advice about this item.  Thanks.

This is a complete shot in the dark.  :)

The vase reminds me of Fratelli Toso pieces.  There is a company now trading as Arnoldo Toso...maybe it's Arnoldo Toso & Co?

You could try writing to them: http://www.fratellitoso.it/contacts.htm

Thanks Max for your interest.  I've sent an email to the address you suggested and attached a couple of photos.  It would be great to get a positive reply!  Naomi
