No problem at all Anne. If you want better quality pics I can email them if you prefer.

I agree that the American angle seems unlikely. Yes Crystalor could have been a trade name for Century.

Good to see you have Margaret on your site now, there's a set here

I have a super pic of another Margaret set but unfortunately it's not mine, the lozenge shaped pot lid handle seems exactly the same as one of the Mystery set 6 pot lid handles (round pot) and the candlesticks are in your Mystery set 6 also, in fact the similarities in shapes go on and on.

Ah well the mystery continues lol...

What puzzles me about these is that the candlesticks in the eBay set and your photo above are the same as my clear ones but are not the same as the ones shown in the Pottery Gazette advert image... the ones in the advert seem wrong stylistically whereas the ones I have seem right!

Once again you've spotted something I've entirely missed Anne, but yes I totally agree. Is it possible the candlesticks had a redesign at some point, or that the drawing artist wasn't completely accurate?

It's entirely possible yes.

The other curious thing is that the pintray on the Margaret advert is the same shape as the one found with the Crystalor tray (with the same shaped short candlesticks too) and I've seen both Crystalor and Century pieces in the same three colours: pink, clear and green. Never seen either in blue or amber though.

Agreed, and I've also never seen either in Amber or blue.

I'm excited to see this though,

Do my eyes deceive me or is that a ring holder? I've not seen that before or the tray, have you?

Wow! No I haven't seen a ring stand to match before, well spotted!

And I've not seen that tray before either... ooh how exciting! I wonder if that is another Century design or if it's a mix-and-match set?

Yes I'm wondering too! Gosh I'm sure there must be a catalogue somewhere out there just waiting to be discovered!

P.S. Just to let you know I sent you an email. :)
