Jennifer had a good question about how to tell Murano glass from Chinese. Do you think this would be a good subject for another thread? I'll start one with a tip or two that I have learned. I guess we can bounce it over to the cafe if needed. I don't think it is against policy.

Anita, it would certainly not be against policy (so long as no bashing takes place ;)). Tips and advice for helping to distinguish between different makers would be most useful, for sure. There is already a page on the Glass Museum about some of the Murano-style Chinese vases:
