Hi Chuggy,
Cool bowl. But, I am wondering why you call it a "valva." From the photo it looks like a plain sommerso. The Valvas are extremely narrow, and have tops so thin that they almost come to a point.

I called it valva as this was one of the shapes I had down as valva in my folders, but I'm more than happy to be corrected. It's just great.

Here you go Ray piccy as requested both have the 3 line acid stamp on the black bases. Unfortunately the right hand one has lost a hand which was why I was able to afford it at the time.

The piece on the right does not look like Venini. Can you post a picture of the acid stamp?
