Anthony Stern glass bowl with copper collar
« on: January 23, 2009, 09:17:56 AM »
Hi all, I can't put any photos up right now (I'm on a borrowed computer while my laptop is being repaired) however hubby came home with two beautiful pieces of signed art glass the other day - a Norman Stuart Clark irridescent vase (I shall post about this separately) and a beautfully elegant pale pink glass bowl with a copper collar to the base by Anthony Stern.

I've found similar pieces to my Stern bowl online by Googling - there's also a photo on Anthony's website but no information as to the production date? Is it modern current production does anyone happen to know?

That's interesting JP thanks!  My bowl however is much simpler than the jug - no frills or fancy bits and the metal collar has his initials 'AS' stamped into it.  I'll try and get a photo up here soon - I'm still on a borrowed computer whilst my laptop is being repaired so can't post a photo at the moment.
