Small Cascade pig
« on: January 23, 2009, 10:44:42 AM »
Just for interest and comparison, a little piggy with a Cascade sticker.  Unfortunately its not mine, but I compared it to two of mine, one a teal/blue coloured Holmegaard one, and the other a clear Cascade one (I think, from reading previous postings).  I was really surprised at how small it is.  The mouths and tails differ, and the small one is 'bald' and has a different shape foot.

I have an identical one and have always thought the Cascade one is for collecting sixpences.

That's an interesting idea.
A much safer bet these days than using a Bank ;D

I think you're right Ivo because we had a blue Cascade pig (posted on this board ages ago) that came with a sixpence still inside it.
