ID Help for Peppermint Swirl
« on: January 31, 2009, 02:19:20 AM »
Here is a photo of a footed paperweight I picked up recently.  It reminds me of a peppermint swirl with its cranberry and green glass particles.  The glass is clear and the base polished with concave area to the very center.  My thought is vintage American, possibly Devil's Fire in design.  Can anyone confirm this and perhaps tell me more?

Also included in some of the photos is a Gentile (gaffer stamp) weight.  Would the design also fall into the category of Devil's Fire?
