Hello, I have had this Caithness bowl for years but have never been able to find out much about it. It is decorated with flowers and glittery dragonflies, and is 7.5" tall and 7.5" at the rim. The base is inscribed DD284 Caithness Scotland 1991. On the Scotland's Glass website I found a 1992 lamp painted with the same pattern in different colours:

My questions are, who designed the lamp and did the same person make my bowl? Also, what does the 284 refer to (if this is a test piece I wouldn't have expected a series number)? Finally, is there any financial value attached to this piece? Many thanks for any advice, Jacs.
