Unusual Vasart / Monart piece
« on: February 09, 2009, 09:12:49 AM »
The seller of this item calls it a pin dish, but it does not look like the usual style of Vasart pin dish.  It looks more like a cane set-up that was never finished as a dish or weight.  Has anyone seen similar pieces?

I have seen and handled this item. I don't think its an unfinished "button". It has the actual shape of a dish, and the canes seemed correct for vasart in my humble opinion. Its certainly unusual. By the way its not mine!
