Topic: Royal Bethersden

I imagine that Royal Bethersden is just a marketing name for some other manufacturer. Any idea who really made this paperweight?

Hi Alan

Other than establishing that Bethersden is in Kent I cant add much as
I can find no trace of a glassmaker in the Bethersden area.

I wonder if AA has any ideas on that front. Seems strange to use an
actual place name unless there was some definite connection with it.

The picture is poor but I suspect given the size of the run (1000) that
the logo is printed onto a ceramic plaque then encased like Mosser
weights and some Murano.
