Ice look with acid stamp! - ID = Josef Riedel
« on: May 28, 2009, 07:32:27 PM »
Hi all -

Here's another vase that I picked up and haven't been able to figure! I have enclosed a picture of the vase as well as a picture of the top lip (ground down with a slight bevel), and a crude drawing of the acid stamp on the bottom (I couldn't get a good picture, not really a camera wiz). Anybody have a clue? Thanks!

Here are some external Links to more high res versions:

hi Pete,
it´s the very stylised J and R for Josef Riedel, i´d say.
