So, I think that's a "yes" to your, er, your sister's ashtray, then...  ;)

Hi John,
are you looking for Rhapsody? Perhaps I can help you, I have several pieces doubled, trippled, etc :-)))

Chris you are right, the ashtray of sister no 2 (of 3) does look to be Rhapsody but as she is also my 'favourite' sister (and her husband is big and scary) the ashtray is still in her possession.

Jindrich, thank you very much, I am looking for a Rhapsody bowl but I am not sure that this is the right part of the message board for us to be trading. I am new to message boards and their operation but I think you can send messages to other members of the board or look in my profile for my email address.

I have had some good sales on that ubiquitous auction site we all know of recently and so I splashed out last night (not a crazy price considering) on another Rhapsody item for my 'collection', photos to follow when it arrives from Vienna.

John.

Hi John,
I collect "Rhapsody" pieces (also "Harmony" and "Romana" - see Mark Hill's - Hi Sklo... ) for several years, I keep to buy it always when price is acceptable. My nice wife Sonia keeps to pack all my glass to boxes and puts in to cellar so it is hard to remmember what I already have already bought.

I am not a dealer in glass, only collector with limited space what caused my duplicities. I suppose that space problem has every glass collector.
But it is true, that here in Czech republic we can find Czech glass a bit easier than abroad  :) so write me to J.Parik(AT)seznam.cz, if you wish.

Hi Jindrich,

I hope you mean duplicates.
Duplicities aren't very nice.

But your English is SO much better than my Czech  ;D

I think I may have lots of questions for you in the weeks to come...

Best wishes
Chris

My sisters small bowl or ashtray is not Rhapsody it appears to be by Novy Bor/Zelezny Brod, just spotted it here in Dusan's fantastic web album.

Is it ok to use this link in this way? (Still a bit 'green' with links).

John.
