Maker? vaseline & blue wine stem
« on: March 09, 2009, 12:18:09 AM »
This has a high lead content (sings like a birdy!).  height is 7.5 inches, top rim diameter is 3 inches.  The foot is applied (no pontil), and there is an ever-so-slight raised base on the underside of the foot that is the only place the foot makes contact.  that rim is ground and is 2mm wide.  as you can see, this is sort of like 'rubina verde', only blue.  the blue layer is on the inner side of the bowl and there is a layer of uranium glass on the outside.  No cutting on the stem.
