I bought a few paperweights like this one in the late eighties. They bore the label of "de Roma." It's probably a label done by the importer and not the maker.

I would like to know the maker too!
I collect Scottish and Italian paperweights and anything else that strikes my fancy.

I have never had any luck finding who did most of the weights and other glass pieces that have generic Murano labels. There were so many people making glass, most of them I have never heard of. I feel better just calling them generic Murano -- no insult to the glass, only meaning that no one seems to know who made them.
