Size is 3.5" high x 3.5" diam approx. and heavy.
Would appreciate if anyone could help with maker.

Gibson makes sulphides in spherical weights with three dimensional animals. They're usually on a frit base. Yours looks like one but the ground looks different. A photo of the base would help.
I collect Scottish and Italian paperweights and anything else that strikes my fancy.

Also Jim Davis and the St Clairs etc. in the US and a number of european makers (Bohemian).


I assume no markings?

The base has been flat polished but is scratched.
I cannot see any marks anywhere.

The color of the ground, flat ground base and the way it scratched make me lean toward Bohemian. I have a three-flowers-in-a-pot Boh that has a base like that.
