I expect you're right NKP  -  I have'nt been looking at it for more than a week or two  -  but looked at quickly the outline struck me as a squashed red moggy.

assuming I've got the right ebay item  -you called it VAD

that bowl pattern is called  Vases

and its definitely Rene Lalique c1921-1923
