opalescent carafe
« on: April 03, 2009, 08:41:37 PM »
something from one of last years boot sales  -  and I assume a carafe as it has very faint but regular patches of wear around the shoulder of the 'bulb'.   Unfortunately, I don't have the tumber to go with it - it is very attractive.   Is anyone able to advise on its country of origin and possible date please.      Am I correct in saying that it is 'free blown', or is it mould blown.    About 17 cms. tall  and about 13 cms. wide.   sorry the pics are not so good, but any thoughts much appreciated.  cheers   Paul S.
