This powder bowl in green glass glows under a black light, and has a chromed mirror-bright screw on lid, so I'm guessing it's not that old - perhaps 1950s, would that be about right?  Any ideas who may have made it please?

Hi Anne,
no ideas, but could easily be 1930s when Chrome was also popular.

Cheers,

Have now also seen this pot in blue glass with a chrome lid with patterned insert.  Still no idea of maker though.

The lid of mine is completely plain chrome, with no indication that anything was ever there. The blue one I saw had an insert of that type Dirk, but with a different design.

Pamela, this is the only shot I have found with the bottom visible - it's completely plain. I'll do some pics of the base as well and add them later.
