Inscription on a Nazeing table lamp
« on: April 13, 2009, 08:52:06 AM »
Stephen et al - A Nazeing green cloudy 6½" diameter 16/1 undrilled table lamp base, fitted with the usual chrome collar but punched with the following inscription in a ring on the upper surface in sans-serif capitals:

O'CONNOR ELECTRICAL INDUSTRIES LTD

Was this a local (Broxbourne area) firm or based further afield?   Were they the suppliers of Nazeing's electrical fittings (the lack of a drilled flex outlet and the inscription might be an early trial)?   Anything else known?
