Scandinavian ? Bird Figures Vintage from 50's 60's HELP ID Please

These were from my mom. She had them for a very long time. They are very well done with a black glass base that shows age on the underside. It also appears in places as though it were "shaved" to make it flat, as it shows different long "scalloped" style marks. I tried to picture them but could not. The piece is about 7 inches long. Any suggestions on this one would be a great help.... Not my kind of thing, so I am clueless about this type of glass.
