Mdina Frosted Glass Bowl
« on: March 24, 2011, 11:22:36 AM »
Hi

Could anyone shed any light on this Mdina Frosted Bowl, in particular the signing on the base (which is smooth and unfrosted).

Many thanks David

It would appear to read Mdina 08, I can't make out the rest of it, but you could try asking the Mdina works.

Wavy frosted stuff is later than my period of interest, although this is a rather nice rendition of "Earth" (it looks a lot more like the earlier "Earthtones" design Michael Harris instigated there).
Although the name has been changed, and how well it is executed has been subject to a lot of variation, it has basically been in production from the start.
