Stuart Crystal Atomiser
« on: April 19, 2009, 03:58:43 PM »
Hi

I've purchased a Stuart Crystal Atomiser today, in the Shaftesbury pattern, and although it is marked on the lower outside I can't find any info on it.

I really want to know if I've grabbed a bargain, so if anyone has any info on the value of this piece please please reply! :)

Thanks in advance.

Alley

Hi Alley,
it sounds nice, more info on Stuart Shaftesbury on this link,
http://www.replacements.com/webquote/STUSHA.htm

The Glass message board avoids giving values, but you may get some idea from the
prices on this link (retail!! )

I dont think youre a millionaire, but a lucky owner of a nice bit of English crystal

Cheers
Andy

thankies :)

I'm honestly not that interested in price, coz it's a prezzie for my friend (lucky girl!) but because I cant find any info I'm fairly interested in rarity, being a book-collector normally. And everyone loves a bargain (less than a tenner!  :D)

Unfortunately that link doesn't have the atomiser :( Thank you again

The round version is on the link Andy gave in the bottom section, but without a price. It'll have been more than a tenner when new though, you can be sure of that, and as Andy says, a nice pressie. :)

Added: the teardrop atomiser is shown on here: http://www.smallislandtrader.com/crystal/stuart/shaftesbury/giftware/index.php at just over £25. 8)
