There seems to be some confusion about the book on Benny Motzfeldt I mentioned earlier. The one by Lauritz Opstad that keeps cropping up in the exchange here, is an exhibition catalogue from the 1970s. The 1984 book (still various authors) is 122 pages with lots of color plates, and no rider on a horse on the cover. It was printed in 3000 copies, the first 200 of which were signed by Benny Motzfeldt herself. At present, 3 copies are available here in Norway at www.antikvariat.net  - go to “avansert søk” (yes, it means advanced search) and type in Benny Motzfeldt under “fri tekst” (yes, it means free text). Good luck!

Thank you so much!
I'll have to wait and see if the one I've ordered this time is available
(I'm sure I have been ordering the correct, 1984 one)
If it's not available, I shall use the link you've just provided.

Thank you so much also for the info about there being 3000 copies - there must have been some confusion in the info I was given about 200, I imagine because of the signed copies.  :-[
(I'm not fussed about signed, I'd rather a cheaper copy - I want the pictures and the information only.)

It's arrived, it's the right one..... and now I'm drooling over the pics - the bits in the book are nicer than my bits, I need more Benny.......

No small thanks to you, Christine!
It's not in book-collector's condition, the dust jacket is a bit torn, it's WELL nicotine-stained/browned around the edges and on the dust jacket, there are a couple of dirty marks inside - but not on the pictures!
I think I must have been quite lucky - this copy was listed just the day before I bought it - only £31 with postage.
Cheers, Sue M. (she/her)

I was all over-excited yesterday with my "new" arrival - and I didn't thank Alexander and Alsretro and everybody else who helped me find it.

Thank-you all!
