Hi.. These vases are cropping up more and more on ebay often described as Sklo Union, have they been confirmed as such. Thanks Paul.

Hi Paul,

As far as I am aware, Marcus has never been able to tie these down as Sklo Union and they don't appear in either the complete run of CGR, or any of the catalogues currently available to him and I cannot find them in the 14 catalogues available on the CD which accompanies Marcus' book. Discussions on both the two styles of this vase with dealers and members of this board, suggest that we are probably looking towards Jablonecke Sklo, or Poland as possible sources of these vases.

Hi,
I have checked this piece with Frantisek Vizner and our common opinion is that it is NOT Czech one.

Thank you Della and Jindrich for your replies, I was hoping for Sklo Union or Czech but never mind they are nice vases anyway. I have four different colours in this design blue, grey, green, and amber all the same size. I wonder if there are any other colours?? Paul.

Hi,

This little piece is Polish, designed by Eryka Trzewik Drost for Ząbkowice.  It can be found in the 1971 catalogue (scroll down to page 34) here.
