Clear jug with green handle and foot
« on: September 27, 2005, 09:38:31 PM »
I found this a couple of days ago and can't find anything like it. It's a nice looking, well made piece. Stands 7" tall, is 5" diameter across the top. Has a green applied handle and foot. The clear body is optic ribbed. There is a polished pontil mark on the base. Does anyone recognise it please?

I remember your set yes, I saw one similar to yours, but with blue foot and handle, on eBay a day or so ago. The seller had tentatively attributed it to Webb but had no proof s/he said.  I don't know if mine is the same maker - there are similarities, yet the handle looks different - whether it's enough to be from another maker I don't know. The body shape is an older style I think... yours looks more modern than mine but then again some older styles look modern even now, so I don't really know if they're from the same hand/s.

Perhaps someone else may know more?
