I strongly suspect that the one you found is actually the same colour as this one but appears different due to different photographic / lighting conditions.

Neodymium
I have lived with this vase for a couple of weeks now and photographed it under several different lighting conditions and in different settings.

I now conclude that the base glass is neodymium glass but only in a very pale intensity. The neodymium effect of changing tones under different lighting conditions is definately present but is just very subtle.

It can be seen most clearly in the base but it also affect the tone / color of the flashed (cranberry) layer to turn it various tones of pinkish / purplish according to the lighting. I have tried to show these effects in the gallery of photos above.
