Older PW-Chinese ?
« on: May 11, 2009, 10:14:55 PM »
Hi all...
It has been awhile since I posted. (but reading often!!).finally getting around to one of my last unidentified weights.....have had it for manyyears..purchased at antique fair way back when I did not know anything about PWs esp. bottoms!!!  So I always thought it was Murano...but now assume it is Chinese...just need verification..as I have been listing PWs for sale..and always wish to have most accurate descriptions..
TIA

Janette

4" H.. large bottom/ center clear bubble in amber. top bubble at end of pulled blue and white . Unpolished bottom (I have more photos if needed)

I would not say it's older Chinese. It looks pretty much like what they've been making for about the last 10 years or so.
I collect Scottish and Italian paperweights and anything else that strikes my fancy.
