Murano Fairy Lamp with applied decoration
« on: September 27, 2005, 09:56:39 PM »
I am sure many Italian glass collectors are surprised at the range of styles and glass types found in Murano fairy lamps.  As a collector of fairy lamps I am aware of most but their diversity continues to amaze me.  Recently, however, I acquired one that took me completely by surprise.

It is brown satin glass with applied glass decoration.  I have seen Italian glass decorations before but, never on a fairy lamp.  Please take a look at the following article and let me know if you can contribute any information about it.
