The chain is much longer Anne,
I have been asked by Max Velcovský to help him to attribute, got pictures bz email from him.  I did not know that pictures came from Dusan's album. Anyway attribution would be helpful

I will leave others to judge, but the two images come from the picasa album, linked to below, originally posted by Andy, with Dusan's permission.

http://picasaweb.google.de/exat53/PreGlasTschechoslowakei#

Their use in this thread, unless Dusan expressly authorised their use, is a breach of Dusan's copyright, whether Max forwarded them to Jindrich, or not.

Hi ho, Marcus
do you want to stand for European parliament or are you seeking job in Brussel's bureaucracy?  ;D

The issue is attribution, not to sell photoes or break copyright.

First I did not know that Max has found it at Dusan's site, second I do not expect that Dusan would be unhappy wit coorect attribution, third - usage of picture for studiing or researching purpose is nor breackage of copyright, forth I have permission from Dusan to use his pictures in my database

Hi Jindrich,

Could you please make sure Dusan gives permission for these photos to be used here? That will solve everything.

Thanks!

Cathy

Dear Mr Parik, a database of Czechoslovakian glass is a great idea and i would be glad to support your project. You can also use pictures from my picasa web album: http://picasaweb.google.de/exat53. Take a look from time to time, i will make some updates in the next days.
Best regards, Dusan Minovski, Vienna

I suppose that Dusan has nothing against ussage of his pictures for correct attribution also here.
I have hoped that here I am in the middle of glass friends, my misake...

Jindrich

Finaly,
the absurdity of  fabricated "copyright issue"  can be seen from fact, that it was me, not Andy, who placed the link to Dusan's web at Andy's thread.

Hi Jindrich,

We can't help you either, but the glass is stunning!

We havn't been on this board very long, and only been collecting glass for 8 months - nevertheless without people like your good-self willing to offer accurate advice and guidance we would have made many more mistakes in our own attributions.

We firmly believe your intentions in "that thread", were honourable and well-meant and feel this board would be very much the poorer without your valuable input.

We very much hope you continue to share your knowledge and thoughts with us all.

Mike & Sharron x

Jindrich:

I have retaken the photographs you requested to use. Can you send me an email with your email address so I can send them to you.
