This is puzzling me no end, can anyone point me in the right direction for a maker and age please? There are no marks on it anywhere. It has a small polished pontil mark (similar in size to my green possibly-Stuart bowl) and has 8 raised ridges from rim to foot around the outside of the body - these can be felt inside as a sort of raised bump. The handle is amber as is the foot. Height is 213mm (that's a shade over 8¼"), top diameter is 147mm (5¾") excluding the spout. I'm thinking it may be English, but that's just a feeling.  Any thoughts please?

Pics showing the pouring lip and the base with pontil mark.
