Ohh interesting! I haven't seen the Libochovice portrayal, but will look more closely at the sticks in future.

I have measured the lids of the two smaller clear Duchess pots that I have and can confirm that the external diameter of the projecting rim on my pots is also 82mm.

Fred, thank you, that's useful to know. I'm still searching boxes for mine to compare with.  :)

Anne here is a green Duchess lid on a Duchess Posy Vase. The Bagley book says it was sold with a flower frog and without the frog as a sugar bowl. It seems like the sugar had a lid, it would tie in with your blue one also. I have messaged the seller for the diameter of the rim.

Oooh now there's a thought! I read about the Duchess flower vase in Angela's book, and assumed it meant with flower holder = vase, without = sugar. It never occurred to me it might have had a lid too. Now I do have a Duchess flower vase with frog somewhere, so If I can remember which box the rogue lid is in I'll try them together and see how they work. The biggest problem is getting to my glass boxes just now, as they are over the far side of the spare bedroom, which is jammed full so I can't even get into the door!

Good luck with that Anne! :D The lid looks like a good fit in the listing pic but it would be good for you to test it.

'Permanent' image of the green lidded Bagley Duchess pot in case Jayne's ebay link ceases to function over time.
