I've recently acquired this gorgeous amethyst urn and I don't know what time period to place it.  It's hand blown and has many bubbles all throughout.  It's rather large, measuring 12" tall.  Maybe someone has seen something similar to this in the past?  Thanks so much for your help.

About all i can tell you, is that its definitely not whitefriars !

Is there any sign of age wear (small scratches and rubbing due to being moved about for years!) to the foot?
