Tapio Wirkkala Style Glass Bowl
« on: June 27, 2009, 09:22:13 AM »
Can someone help me to identify this bowl?  The design motif remind me of Tapio Wirkkala (leaves and dots), but I have my doubts that it is an Iittala piece.  Any help would be appreciated.
Charles.

Try Laisiepat - I'm sure someone had one of these with a sticker.

Pip, i´m sure you´re thinking of the more floral bowl in this thread (the 2nd pic):

this bowl however was made by weisswasser:

I should mention on the whole Lasisepat thing, that a lot of the designs have also been spotted in Ravenhead packaging. So if you find a "Lasisepat" design in the UK the likelihood is that it's actually Ravenhead  ;D. How the designs / moulds where licensed etc. isn't known at the moment.
