Small Riihimaki vase?
« on: June 28, 2009, 11:49:40 AM »
I purchased this small 51/2" vase recently and thought it had some characteristics of riihimaki type glass its in a nice blue colour and has a swirled base slightly pushed in as ive read before this can be a characteristic of riihimaki pieces. Its form also is similar if a little on the small side just wondered if it might be or something else? Thanks for looking.

It's not by Riihimaki, I had one the same a while back but I never did find out who made it - possibly Scandinavian, possibly German??????.  Nice vase though.
